Fly Fishing
I drove by Whitefish City Beach to see if I should be getting out my fishing gear. Pretty, but it's still a little early as you can see. However, skiing is still quite good. The backside of Whitefish Mountain is superb, winter conditions.
Still thinking about the upcoming fishing season, I stopped by the local Lakestream Fly Fishing Shop. Wow! The lake fishing is not ready but I was told the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, coming out of Glacier National Park, is already in full swing. I was told that the river I took pictures of last summer, with the "clear all the way to the bottom" water, is just waiting for the right flies.
